Audit Senior
Industry Sector: Accounts
Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Job Ref: 5004
Tuesday 11th August 2026
To £45,000 per Annum
You're an auditor with a few years of practice experience. And if you're not qualified, you're studying and want the continued support, practically and financially.
If you're going to move firms, you need a good reason, because changing jobs is an upheaval you can do without.
It would need to be somewhere that can offer you any or all of the below:
- A professional but relaxed and friendly culture
- A mixed client portfolio (including manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail), up to £35m turnover
- With clients within a 50-mile radius, mostly local, so very few nights away, if any. And some remote audits
- Family-friendly policies, including some flexibility around hours, and part-time applicants will be considered
- A growing small firm, offering the chance to expand your skills and experience with long-term career opportunities
- When you're in the office (yes, you will need to be in the office some of the week), you'll be able to park on-site
- Where full study support is offered, if you need it
- Somewhere progressive, run by an entrepreneurial director, ensuring they remain current and encouraging you to speak out if you see a better way of doing things
- A business that understands how important its people are to its success
- Where qualified staff get 25 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays). And everyone has access to private medical care and can buy holiday after a successful probationary period
Just an opportunity has arisen.
With all of the above.
Apply now to be considered. Those who are unsuccessful will receive a swift email accordingly.
Anyone who meets the specified criteria will be invited to a no-obligation call, during which you can chat to an experienced recruiter, who'll protect your anonymity. And if after that call you decide it's a job you'd like to be considered for, we'll support you throughout the entire process.
