    Managing Director

    After a career in private banking and 6 years in accountancy recruitment in Cambridge, Clare established Clarity Appointments in 2005, to fulfil a need for a high-quality accountancy recruitment specialist in North Herts. A fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) she ensures that the need to deliver results to clients and candidates does not come at the detriment of high working standards and a strict ethical code. In 2015 Clare was appointed a Regional Director for The Employment Agents Movement (TEAM), which engages and supports high calibre independent recruitment agencies across the country. Outside work Clare pretends to like exercise but is much happier when travelling to a new place or enjoying a bottle of wine with a friend.

    Senior Consultant

    Donna has been with Clarity for so long, we can't remember what it was like without her. She's a member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) which underpins her extensive recruitment experience and local market knowledge and she has a wonderful reputation with local businesses and candidates alike. Donna is responsible for accountancy and office recruitment across Bedfordshire, with a work ethic and success rate that wins her repeat business time and time again. She has a young family which keeps her busy after hours and when she can, she enjoys concerts and music festivals.

    Belinda Maudlin, AIRP

    Resourcing Consultant

    Belinda joined Clarity in 2008 as the office administrator, but outgrew that position and became the company's first Resourcing Consultant in 2015. The place would not work the same without her since she's done most of the jobs in the office at some time.

    Belinda now spends much of her working week sourcing quality candidates, meeting with them and helping her colleagues to manage the recruitment process when they are especially busy. Despite being a country girl with horses and chickens, Belinda is happiest when on city breaks across Europe or visiting London markets to enjoy the street food.

    Senior Consultant

    Helen joined Clarity Appointments in 2011 with a wealth of experience and an impressive record in recruitment consultancy spanning nine years, working both with national consultancies and for small, independent recruiters. She is motivated by finding people work, knowing that sometimes this can have a lasting impact on their lives.
    Helen is an Independent Recruitment Professional (IRP), is hard working and tenacious, handling accountancy and office permanent recruitment throughout Cambridgeshire. Helen has young boys so time away from the office usually involves family days out.

    Terri Lalonde, FIRP

    Business Manager

    With an accountancy recruitment career that started in 1995, Terri has a vast wealth of experience and is a member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP). She has managed a varied portfolio of clients during this time and builds strong relationships with colleagues, clients and candidates alike. Terri joined the Clarity team in 2012 and is responsible for accountancy and office recruitment for a busy, growing portfolio of clients across Hertfordshire to director level. And she's one of those rare people that has a gym membership and actually uses it, despite having a young family, so that's where you'll find her outside office hours.

    Leigh Verity


    Leigh joined Clarity in February 2015 as our temporary office administrator and didn't leave. Her many responsibilities include advertising vacancies, keeping candidate CV's up to date, verifying their qualifications, taking references and ensuring the weekly temp payroll is accurate and timely. Pretty much everyone has spoken to Leigh because she's the first contact for anyone calling Clarity for the first time. She has extensive office support experience and worked for several years as an administrator and recruiter for an independent recruitment agency. Outside office hours, Leigh enjoys time spent with her family including dog walks and cuddling up with the grandchildren.

  • Sophie Hardiman

    Sophie Hardiman


    Sophie is our newest team member, having joined in summer 2018, to train as a Resourcer.

    She studied Criminology before starting a position with a local insurance business as a customer advisor. So she's proven her commitment to providing excellent levels of service and delivering what is required by the customer, whilst ensuring her work was compliant at all times.

    Outside office hours, Sophie is a regular gym goer and loves to eat.

  • Clarence



    Whilst we only hire human beings to make decisions for all the job applications we receive, Clarence joined the team in 2017 to improve the initial application experience.
    He's responsible for ensuring every person gets a personalised response to their application before it's forwarded to a Consultant for review.
    Clarence doesn't get much spare time, but when he does, he likes to rest.
