No-one needs reminding that 2020 was a very challenging year for the UK workforce and we have more to come.

What you might not appreciate is, to what extent your actions as an individual in the recruitment process has on each and every person who presses 'apply'. Those who, most likely, have applied to your job vacancy because they have been forced into a precarious employment situation, rather than a career move, at leisure.

So, here's my take on what is, by far, the most important, and simplest action you can exercise, for the well-being of the job seeker and your personal and professional brand (which influences your ability to attract talented people in the future).
