Situation
A large lifestyle and management company had experienced rapid and regular change in their head office function with senior figures moving on in quick succession causing disruption across the team.
Challenge
Following the appointment of a new Payroll Manager there had been the need for a change in staffing and reapportioning of duties, creating the immediate need for a Payroll Clerk. Such was the need that the business decided the solution was a temporary to permanent solution.
Methodology
As we pro-actively seek out and fully register jobseekers in the area, we were able to create a shortlist of three suitable candidates that same day, all of whom had been met, were fully referenced and were able to start the role immediately.
Result
The business arranged interviews immediately upon seeing the short list and selected a candidate who could start the very next day.
After just two weeks of the temporary worker commencing her duties she was interviewed for the permanent position. Although she had no previous experience, her can-do attitude and the way she fitted in culturally with the existing team was enough to ensure she secured the position permanently, starting her contract the following week.
