Part-Time Office Administrator
Industry Sector: Office Support
St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Monday 29th June 2026
To £28,000 FTE per Annum
You've got experience with a whole range of clerical duties, ideally some HR administration and accounts work.
But struggling to find the part-time hours you need, where you can work from home most days, and have the great company culture you seek.
Where you'll work with others who take ownership of their work, use their initiative to identify what else needs to be done, rather than waiting to be told. Where people learn from their own mistakes and are not afraid to flag problems. Where you'll be working with teammates who are comfortable asking for help, hold themselves to high standards, and show kindness, honesty, and support for each other.
You're a great administrator, with attention to detail and numeracy skills, whilst being willing to learn new tasks. And you're within a commutable distance from St Neots.
Although you'll mostly work from home for this opportunity, you'll need to be in the office as and when required.
Working the equivalent of 2-3 days a week, which can be agreed to fit your needs, whether that be 2-3 full days or five shorter days, for example. A typical full working day is 9 am to 5.30 pm with a 30-minute break.
Perfect for anyone with a life outside work, who might need to do school runs, has hobbies, or has pets they want to get home to.
You'll provide finance support, including accounts payable and bank reconciliations, help the HR manager with recruitment administration and onboarding, maintain internal policies, contracts and H&S records, amongst other tasks, detailed within the job description. Using the MS Office suite and Xero.
Your job will have a purpose: supporting employee recruitment, onboarding, and well-being, and ensuring prompt payment of suppliers. All for an organisation that does something truly meaningful.
The business you'll work for is a successful SME consultancy, which continues to grow and demonstrates its commitment to its employees in multiple ways. For example, by hiring people who will complement the existing team ethos, setting them up for success from day one, giving opportunities to develop, to have a voice, and creating an environment where employees are respected and encouraged to think for themselves.
The salary listed is the full-time equivalent and will be adjusted for the hours agreed. You'll receive a 5% matched pension contribution, private healthcare, flexible working, and an outstanding holiday policy.
