Financial Accountant Hybrid Working
Industry Sector: Accounts
Job Ref: 3732
Monday 25th April 2022
You're a qualified financial accountant looking to work in a hybrid-working model with much of your time home-based. But it'd better be within a company that has more to offer than just flexibility.
And there aren't too many of those about.
This is a newly created role, working across multiple businesses, preparing 16 monthly management accounts packs. Including journals, prepayments, accruals, CAPEX/depreciation, balance sheet recs and royalties. All using Sage, so having this will give you a very distinct advantage.
As well as cash flow forecasting, fixed assets and assisting on budgets. And when the Finance Manager is absent you'll deputise, which will mean supporting a small team.
In an ideal world, you'll be ACCA or CIMA qualified, but if you're technically sound and got great SME practical experience we'd like to hear from you because QBEs are also being considered.
All within a business that has grown in an extraordinary way in the past two years alone, whilst already being well established. In fact, currently building and investing for the future.
One that is set in a stunning rural location which means that working from the office ensures a relatively easy drive and a parking space right outside the office. With relaxing lunchtime walks.
Where the HR Manager of three years talks so excitedly about the culture of the business that you know she means it when she says it's a 'wonderful', happy, friendly, supportive place to be. Somewhere that is very much a community, not highly corporate, and where everyone understands that whilst they have an area of personal responsibility, they help each other. Mucking in when it's necessary to get tasks completed.
One where you'll work for a CEO who, despite many years in the business, is so innovative that he's considered a pioneer in his industry.
And a sector that can only keep growing. Because the area it works in is absolutely essential and its potential customers just keep on growing.
It's a 40 hour week but they're pretty flexible about how those hours are made up, provided core hours are covered daily. So if that's 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, fine. If it's 9 to 5. Also all right.
This is a business where you'll have the chance to shine and be part of something special. And you'll work for and with some lovely people who are valued.
Whilst it's a profitable, high turnover and flourishing business, its staff numbers only a year ago were small but growing fast. So the company benefits scheme is still small scale with 28 days holiday (including bank holiday) and a contributory pension scheme. But that's for now.
Don't let that put you off. They are very much about their people and you'll have job security.
Apply now to be considered. Everyone receives a response.
