My client is currently seeking a credit controller join a successful team within a vibrant , forward thinking environment.
Due to a recent promotion this is a rare and exciting opportunity and one with prospects too.
You will be working in a large modern building, close to the town centre and location is ideal, and easy to get to, using the roads or public transport.
The company is well established company working within the distribution industry. The team is dynamic, spirited and friendly.
This role is initially to support the existing credit team, with query resolution, administration and reporting duties. You will also manage your own portfolio but be ambitious enough to want more.
As a credit controller you will be responsible for:
. Proactively contacting and collecting payments from customers
. Agreeing and arranging payment plans where necessary
. Developing/enhancing customer care and profile whilst ensuring accounts are paid
. Dealing with credit related queries when affecting collections.
. Liaising with internal and external departments to resolve customer queries relating to non-payment
It is ESSENTIAL that you are:
. Able to work to time scales and targets
. Able to work well using your own initiative
. Confident at communicating well, both verbally and in writing
. Strong in your ability to organise/prioritise
Successful applicants will have some credit experience which will need to be current or very recent and be looking for a career in this specialism.
