At the tender age of sixteen Clare started work in retail banking and was employed by NatWest for twelve years, the last six of them in relationship banking. She then joined a national recruitment agency, specialising in accountancy positions, moving on two years later to join a large independent accountancy agency in Cambridge. For four years she handled temp and perm, clerical, part qualified and qualified recruitment before being asked to set up and run a brand new agency, VWA Recruitment, for a credit management company in Stevenage. Within three years, having made a success of the venture, she bought the business and re-launched it in 2008 as Clarity Appointments, relocating to more suitable premises on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border. She has been an individual member of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (FIRP) for more than a decade and also makes sure that Clarity Appointments is an active corporate member.

Julie began her working life in procurement with a cutting edge manufacturing business, later moving into a customer services role within the same firm. She then spent three years in administrative recruitment before deciding to focus on accountancy recruitment, joining Clarity Appointment's forerunner, VWA Recruitment, soon after it was set up by Clare Wight. Working with clients across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire she rapidly gained a loyal client base, handling permanent recruitment from clerical accountancy staff up to fully qualified accountants. In 2007 Julie was nominated runner-up for the title of Consultant of the Year in the Hertfordshire Recruitment Awards. She is now a qualified Senior Consultant with Clarity Appointments, combining the management of a successful permanent placements desk with a busy family life.

Donna has a background in accounts and administration and before joining Clarity she had gained four years of recruitment experience, including six months in Sydney, Australia. Her recruitment career began in the commercial sector in the year 2000. She later moved to an independent agency where, in a short space of time, she was rewarded with promotion, earned individual membership of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation and won awards for her contribution to the business. A relationship builder with an excellent reputation with clients and candidates alike, Donna joined Clarity with extensive experience and excellent local knowledge. She is now responsible for temporary and contract appointments.

Belinda joined Clarity in 2008 as a temp and she quickly made herself indispensible, joining the team on a permanent basis within a few weeks. With an extensive experience of administration across many industry sectors she now manages the Clarity team day to day. Almost every one of the clients and candidates who deal with Clarity know Belinda since she is usually their first point of contact. Her many responsibilities range from advertising and accounts work (including running the temps payroll) to keeping candidates' CV's up to date, verifying their qualifications, checking that referees' details have been completed and making sure that all relevant information has been added to Clarity's database.

Sarah handles temporary and permanent vacancies for the Office & Executive Division, having joined Clarity in 2011 to manage and develop her own portfolio of clients. She is a 'people person' with high ethical and professional standards, and she is driven by results. She has an interesting career history, having initially worked in recruitment for nine years before becoming an employment coach, helping people who were out of work to find suitable, long term employment. This was followed by a year in field sales before she decided to return to her real passion: recruitment consultancy.
