Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role is pivotal and will provide essential information across the business to divisional heads. Each division has its peaks and troughs and as such you will certainly have to manage your time effectively
Day to day responsibilities will be:-
" To manage the operational reporting for the Group.
" To develop with the IT function the reporting to provide a Management Information System " To establish a fully developed budgetary control process for spending departments and provide variance analysis reports.
" The management and development of improved tools for the Annual Budget process.
" The management and development of improved tools for the 3 year planning process.
" Calculation of product costings (transfer prices, stock cost).
" Attendance at various management meetings, communicating financial information to non-financial colleagues.
" The management of the pricing control function to ensure accurate timely updating of the system.
" To exploit the opportunity provided by the ERP system to provide timely accurate management information to all operating management
" Investment appraisal work on equipment using discounted cash flow model.
Most importantly you will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, giving ownership to the divisional heads. Discussing variances will be a regular occurrence and team spirit is very apparent within the business.
Your Excel skills will be advanced, and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to manipulate many forms of data for reporting purposes.

The package on offer is very competitive and on top of the salary there is a fantastic bonus scheme which can pay up to 20% of annual salary based on both company and individual performance.
Applicants must have costings experience in a manufacturing environment, be well rounded and likely to be CCAB qualified.
