You're already working for an accountancy practice and you know you're not going to achieve that perched at your kitchen table, working from home all week.
Expect a varied and busy portfolio to work upon, support from the partners and joining a two-branch accountancy firm on an ambitious growth programme.
You'll have the opportunity to work with charities, medical and legal professionals, and commercial organisations including construction, using Xero and other digital accounting packages.
That growth means opportunity for those who want it and the firm is accepting that people will want to join but might need part-time hours so fewer hours than the usual 9 am to 5.30 pm will be considered.
Offices are modern and comfortable with parking and the partners want their team to enjoy coming to work so they're OK that there's some chit-chat, have an open door policy and they make nice gestures with food deliveries, for example. They organise some social events but there's no pressure to join in if it's not your thing.
Annual leave is currently being reviewed too, to ensure they stay competitive with the local market.
Full-time hours are 37.5 with work hours of 9 am to 5.30 pm Mon - Thurs (45 min break) and an earlier finish of 4 pm on a Friday (with a 30 min break).
