Clare Wight MIRP

Clare started work in retail banking at the tender age of 16, employed by NatWest for 12 years, the latter 6 years in relationship banking. She then joined a national recruitment agency, specialising in accountancy recruitment, moving on 2 years later to join a large independent accountancy agency in Cambridge. For 4 years she handled temp and perm, clerical, part qualified and qualified recruitment before she was asked to set up and run a brand new agency for a client in Stevenage. This was the birth of VWA Recruitment. Having made a success of the business, 2.5 years later bought the company and re-launched the business as Clarity Appointments, relocating to more suitable premises on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border. Clare manages permanent placements up to Board level and has been an individual member of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (MIRP) for more than a decade and ensured Clarity Appointment's active corporate membership.

 

Julie Collins

Julie previously worked in procurement for a cutting edge manufacturing business and in customer services, as well as 3 years in administrative recruitment, before deciding on a career in accountancy recruitment across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. With great achievement as a Consultant in this specialism, Julie rapidly gained a loyal client base, handling permanent recruitment from clerical accountancy staff up to fully qualified accountants. In 2007 Julie was nominated as runner up for the prize of 'Consultant of the Year' at the Hertfordshire Recruitment Awards. As a result of this success she joined Clare in the MBO of VWA Recruitment in January 2008, re-branding to Clarity Appointments. Managing a successful permanent placements desk with a busy family life, Julie is now employed as a Senior Consultant.

 

Donna Wagstaff MIRP

Responsible for temporary and contract appointments, Donna has a background in accounts and administration and joined Clarity with 4 years of recruitment experience including 6 months in Sydney, Australia. Donnas' career in recruitment started in the year 2000 in the commercial sector. She later moved on to an independent agency where in a short space of time she was rewarded with a promotion, earned individual membership to the REC and won awards for her contribution to the business. A relationship builder with an excellent reputation with clients and candidates alike, Donna joins Clarity with accounts experience and great local knowledge.

 

Belinda Maudlin

Belinda joined Clarity early 2008 as a temp and she quickly made herself indispensible, joining the team on a permanent basis within a few weeks. She has an extensive career in administration across many industry sectors and manages the Clarity team day to day. Pretty much everyone knows Belinda since she is the first point of contact for clients and candidates and her many responsibilities include accounts work, including running the temp payroll; advertising; keeping CV's up to date as well as ensuring that qualifications and references have been completed satisfactorily.
