Management Accountant
Industry Sector: Accounts
Bedford, Bedfordshire
Job Ref: 4962
Thursday 24th April 2025
To £30,000 per Annum
You have experience working within an accountancy practice and studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
But seeking the stability of a good-sized independent firm where the team are friendly and supportive.
And you'll have a career opportunity if you want it.
It's not a traditional semi-senior role; you'll be doing payroll, CIS submissions, VAT returns, and a set of management accounts for several small clients. But no statutory accounting, personal or corporate tax.
Working within a team environment where you can receive help and learn.
And because you have some solid practical experience, you'll support one of the newer apprentices.
The business operates a flexible working day between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm, with you working 7.5 hours a day. But if you want reduced hours, part-time will be considered for the right person.
Once you've settled in and completed your probationary period of six months, you'll also have the ability to work from home one or two days a week.
There's a company pension scheme, a gym and holiday is generous at 24 days plus bank holidays. Although, like many accountancy firms, they close over Christmas, and you need to save some days for this.
Better still, a healthcare scheme is being launched company-wide shortly.
You'll work in a fabulous rural location in fantastic offices with on-site parking.
If you're studying and want a full study package as part of your remuneration, you'll be eligible straight away. This includes an allocation of days for you to use studying, taking exams and attending college.
Please note the salary listed is the upper end of the budget and depends on your needs for a study package, qualifications and experience.
If you have experience working in an accountancy firm and this sounds interesting, apply now. All applications receive a response.
