Purchase Ledger Clerk
Industry Sector: Accounts
Job Ref: 3743
Sunday 8th May 2022
£22,000 per Annum
You're an experienced purchase ledger clerk, used to high volume processing, but looking for a move.
To a business that offers a hybrid working model where you'll spend most of your time working from home.
How about joining a business that has grown in an extraordinary way, is well-established, is building for the future, so that you'll feel that your job is safe?
One that is set in a stunning rural location, meaning that days in the office ensure a relatively easy drive and some parking. With relaxing lunchtime walks.
Where the HR Manager of three years talks so excitedly about the culture of the business that you know she means it when she says it's a 'wonderful', happy, friendly, supportive place to be. Somewhere that is very much a family, not highly corporate, and where everyone understands that whilst they have an area of personal responsibility, they help each other. Mucking in when it's necessary to get tasks completed.
One where you'll work for a CEO who, despite many years in the business, is so innovative that he's considered a pioneer in his industry.
And a sector that can only keep growing. Because the area it works in is absolutely essential and its potential customers just keep on growing.
Well, this purchase ledger position is working within a business such as this. They are looking for someone like you to complement the existing team and help to take the business through the next stage of growth.
You'll do high volume accounts payable processing, supplier payment allocations and any ad hoc work that this busy, growing team needs to meet the common goal of both the team and the business.
Applicants with Sage 50 will be at a huge advantage but it's not essential as training will be given.
It's a 40 hour week but they're pretty flexible about how those hours are made up, provided core hours are covered daily. So if that's 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, fine. If it's 9 to 5. Also all right.
This is a business where you'll have the chance to shine and be part of something special. In normal times, soon to be resumed, there are social events, the office is fab and you'll work for and with some lovely people who are valued.
Whilst it's a profitable, high turnover and flourishing business, its staff numbers only a year ago were small. So the company benefits scheme is still small scale with 28 days holiday (including bank holiday) and a contributory pension scheme. But that's for now.
Don't let that put you off. They are very much about their people.
Apply now to be considered. Everyone receives a response.
