You're highly analytical, working in a commercial finance role and looking for a hybrid-working position where you'll be given the opportunity to grow your skills, in technical expertise as well as the industry sector, working on a whole range of projects for several businesses.
As well as your own growth, you'll want to use your people skills to coach and mentor a small team of people looking to learn and develop too. Within a newish team, but for a wider very, very well-established and reputable business that wants its people to get enjoyment from their work and accept you have needs outside of the working day, and will support those.
You'll be working in an outsourcing environment, for a broad range of clients, of different sizes, different industries and different challenges. Whether that be their day to day needs or working on specific pieces of work to fulfil a shorter-term need.
That might be supporting accounts payables and receivable functions, producing management information and rolling forecasts. Or testing financial controls and documenting them whilst establishing strong client relationships to deliver an exceptional service. The work will nonetheless be varied, interesting and challenging. With your employer encouraging you to step up and own your own development, with their unwavering support. Want to get a crack at the insurance sector? Tell your line manager and when the next project comes available in that sector, they'll try and work you in so you can gain that experience. Probably like nowhere else you've ever worked.
Your clients will often be high-profile and will all have their own priorities and demands so your business acumen and complex problem solving will be used to their fullest. All as part of their need to find solutions to problems, meaning you'll become very well-rounded.
There will be an element of office working, client on-site working and WFH. But the business offers flexible working and there is ample room for development and promotion within an organisation that prides itself on diversity, equity and inclusion for all. And doesn't just talk the talk, they mean it, can demonstrate it.
Core benefits include private healthcare, income protection, life assurance, personal accident cover as well as access to a whole host of other benefits designed to support and protect you and your loved ones. The package is very impressive indeed.
