£23,000 - £25,000 per Annum
You're a buyer, from a manufacturing or engineering background and a problem solver in nature, taking each new challenging task and finding a solution.
With the help and support of an established team.
Working in Sage, which is soon to be implemented, you'll use your ability to read technical drawings, intelligence and ingenuity to make things happen. In a really busy environment where time is critical to ensure products and components are ordered correctly, on time and on budget and despatched with the right paperwork and according to customer timescales.
Because ultimately those items you're purchasing are to be used in the manufacture of a high precision product, shipped internationally for use in the automotive industry.
So your day to day duties will include liaising with suppliers, resolving problems with orders, handing invoice queries, obtaining quotes, assisting in stock takes and keeping stock records.
All with the intention of optimising processes, cost-saving and driving performance.
You'll be contributing to the success and growth of the firm which is under new management, has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the team and taking the business to exciting new heights with ambitious growth plans. A great time for you to learn, grow and be part of that success.
Company benefits are also being improved as the company understands that it's nothing without its people but currently, you can expect to work 8 am to 5.15 pm (1hr lunch) Mon to Thurs and then 8 am to 12 midday on Friday, BUT flexible working is being introduced very shortly. Training will likely happen face to face but otherwise, the support staff are working from home due to Covid.
The holiday entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays initially but climbs each year to a maximum of 33, and you'll be part of a contributory pension.
Your skills are much in need so apply now to be considered.
