We are delighted to represent this dynamic local and forward thinking business in recruiting for a Project Analyst to join their busy finance and development department.
This is a strategic role and will be key in assisting in the continued growth and future development of the organisation.
They are looking to recruit a candidate on a 6 month contract, which will be reviewed for possible extension after this period is successfully completed.
Main Duties:
- Reporting financial information to strict deadlines
- Analysing trends and historical trading data
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Understanding key business drivers and there impact on financials
- Liaising with financial and non-financial colleagues and business partners to extract required information
- Working on various software to analyse and report, must be highly computer literate with a high level of Excel
Applicants will need to be enthusiastic in their approach and have an obvious passion for their work.
You will be liaising with both internal and external contacts so your communication skills will be well honed and you will also have the ability to report your findings to non-financial colleagues.
Applicants will have demonstrable, recent experience in a role where reporting/data analysis and historical trends form part of your working day.
They are looking for a self-motivated person to work in a positive, supportive team. Candidates will be comfortable thinking outside of the box, bringing new ideas and processes into the company.
Ideally candidates should have a recognised accountancy qualification.
