We are pleased to be working with this highly prestigious and well respected organisation in Cambridge in their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
The responsibility of this role is to process financial documents accurately and in a timely manner to ensure prompt payments are made to suppliers.
Key accountabilities include;
* To process invoices, credit card, mileage and cash expense claims accurately to
meet strict deadlines
* Make prompt and accurate payments to suppliers
* Manage own portfolio of accounts
* Process transfer payments at the end of the month using Internet banking
* Liaise with all departments and maintain a good level of communication between suppliers and staff at all levels
* Carry out statement reconciliations and other duties, using Excel.
Applicants will possess a good level of education in Maths and English at the very least but will ideally be part or fully AAT qualified. You will have demonstrated, previous Purchase Ledger experience and be IT literate, with fast and accurate keyboard skills and a good knowledge of Excel and Word.
Your communication skills be excellent and you will have the ability to prioritise your work to meet strict deadlines. You will also be a team player, with a friendly and approachable manner.
