Assistant Accountant (839) - Accountancy
Location:	Hertfordshire
Basic Salary:	£20,000 - £ 23,000 Per Annum

Clarity is delighted to be representing a well respected north Hertfordshire accountancy practice in their search for 2 new Assistant Accountants following a restructure of the existing team.

Likely to be AAT qualified and/or CCAB part qualified with experience demonstrating this level of ability and technical knowledge, you will have a varied workload including;

* Producing a set of accounts
* Audit
* Business tax

Applicants will have proven experience of taking accounts to trial balance and working in an environment where you are used to working with a variety of clients at any time i.e. an accountancy practice or bookkeeping service.

Ideally you will have 2-3 years of relevant experience, be an excellent communicator and used to handling a busy workload.

You will be joining a friendly, prosperous practice at a time of exciting change and development in a town centre location with parking close by and good links with public transport. You will be reporting to a well established local Accountant with an excellent local reputation and an authorised training office for professional examinations.

A competitive remuneration package is on offer including study, 22 days annual leave (increasing to a maximum of 25 days for each full year worked), stakeholder pension (with company contributions after 3 full years of employment matching your contribution up to 3%), membership of an income protection scheme covering 75% of salary for long term illness incapacity. Normal working hours are 9am to 5.30pm with 45 mins for lunch with every other Friday finishing at 1pm.
