Basic Salary:	£23,000 - £ 28,000 Per Annum

My client, an award winning household name with modern offices, free parking and a vibrant working environment are seeking a Credit Control Team Leader.

Reporting into the Finance Manager managing a stable team 8 strong, you will lead, motivate, coach and develop, maximise cash flow, minimise bad debts and resolve and prevent billing errors/disputes.

To ensure an excellent level of service is provided for customer accounting including billing, cash and credit management.

Responsibilities will include:-

• To lead, motivate, coach and develop 10 Credit Controllers.
To effectively resource at times of holiday, sickness, absence and at peak times.
• performance manage team members when required.
• To ensure our customers are paying to contractual terms.
• Provide team members with objectives and targets in line with the company’s KPI’s.
• To ensure team members provide an excellent service to our customers in order to reduce DSO, aged outstanding debt as well as build good client relationships.
• Visit clients to improve billing and collection process to prevent bad debt and maximise cashflow.
• Report on cash collection, query resolution, aged debt and unapplied.
• To provide monthly cash forecasts.
• To identify repetitive billing errors and liaise with appropriate people to implement ways of working to prevent.
• To act as a point of escalation for internal, external customers.
• Manage costs to budget.
• To hold regular team meetings and one to ones with team members

You will be a self starter, have demonstrable experience in a similar role with the emphasis being in man management. A confident and positive attitude are must haves and you will be able to deal with queries quickly and efficiently. An inquisitive, pro-active, analytical mind with the ability to bring ideas to the table will give you the edge.

Permanent salary is up to £21-25K with an annual target related bonus taking the potential annual salary to approximately £28,000 depending on company profit.
